Hey there — thanks for the note!! You’re right about fruit; however, I didn’t say “fruit” doesn’t have nutritional value. (Obviously it does.) I said “sugar” doesn’t. Sugar and fruit are not synonymous.
And yes… strawberries ARE low in sugar, but they’re still about 2x that of almonds by volume.
Either way: strawberries are not the devil, and neither is fruit. The short term goal is just to eliminate as much sugar as possible. After that, of course I’ll eat fruit. (See my point about “real foods.”)
